Divorce is a total bummer, but apparently it’s an even bigger bummer if you have fans counting on your marriage to last!
While we think there are a few other things that are even worse about divorce, it seems letting down your fans is high on the list if you’re Bethenny Frankel.
The margarita momma opened up to Nightline for an upcoming interview and dished on the downside of her divorce with Jason Hoppy.
Surprisingly, it’s not her still shattered heart that keeps her up at night. Rather, it’s her loyal and lovin’ fans that she feels she’s let down. She admitted:
“I felt like I disappointed people, because I felt like I was this role model, that represented the fairy tale. I’m definitely bruised … I could have stayed on the show and been like, ‘Oh, everything’s perfect with us. Everything’s great.’ It made me feel dirty for people to think that I had this perfect relationship and this perfect life.”
We totes get her disappointment since she made it damn clear for multiple seasons how much she wanted to get married!
But, we’re not so sure everyone thought her fussin’ and feudin’ marriage with Jason was perfect. C’mon, she aired that shizz on Bethenny Ever After! We’ve seen the tapes!
No need to worry though, Bethenny, we’re sure the fans will be able to deal with the dramz thanks to a few Skinnygirl margs!
